I initially did a KU on this book (I often do for unknown authors) and was quite surprised by the quality of writing and development. This is not just another sophomoric harem story. It's a very well conceived world, cast of characters - and a MATURE main character! I am very much looking forward to the next installment of this series. OH, btw - I finished the borrowed version, then bought it.
In all honesty, this was a great start for this series and I am invested into what the author has in store and how big the harem gets. I also hope we get to learn more about Hell and how it became a matriartical society and if it has a connection to Jon's world and the religious view of Hell.
Great sword and sorcery epic. Origin story as one man from our world hurtles into a land called Hell and becomes involved with Dark Elves and an Succubus. They think he is the promise of a Ruler to defeat the Wraith King, while Jon thinks he's 'just another guy'.
Everything is okay, characters,story,action,sex. Could be better could be worse the story just didn’t draw me in . Four stars because it’s well crafted as far as spelling,dialogue etc..etc will try the sequel and hope for better
I really enjoyed the setting of this story. It was entertaining and fun. The author did a really good job setting up the Orlando and his characters. I am ready for the next book.
